Faith Ward collects MBE for work on pensions and environment

Faith Ward, Chief Responsible Investment Officer at Brunel, has received her MBE at Windsor Castle for “services to pensions and the environment”.
Faith is known for her leadership on Responsible Investment, which she has demonstrated through a number of key roles. These include Chair of the Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change (IIGCC); Steering Committee member on the UK’s Transition Finance Council; founder and NED of the Transition Pathway Initiative; Investor Advisory Board member for the ISSB; Ethics Advisory Group member for the Church of England National Investing Bodies; Climate Ambassador for the National Federation of Women’s Institutes; and Chief RI Officer at Brunel Pension Partnership.
“Working to protect our environment has been my vocation,” said Faith, who travelled to Windsor Castle for the ceremony. “It was an honour to be recognised for the impact that I, both individually and through Brunel, have had in shaping financial systems to this purpose. And to be able to share that with my family made the day even more special. It was amazing to be there alongside people who had such valuable contributions across a wide range of areas, both military and civilian, in areas such as education, cancer research, media, sport, as well as other aspects of climate change.”
Faith was handed the award by His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales. The full King’s Birthday Honours List is available on the government website.
