Achieving Cyber Essentials Plus
Cyber Essentials Plus is an advanced certification, building on the basic Cyber Essentials framework.
It provides Brunel with enhanced security verification – we had to pass a hands-on technical assessment. This ensures that our security measures are robust and effective. To pass this assessment, we had to demonstrate that our defences can withstand common cyber threats.
As Cyber & AI are one of our seven RI priorities, we want to demonstrate our commitment to this by attaining the a standard recognised by the UK government. This demonstrates our commitment to cybersecurity – protecting ourselves against basic attacks and preventing our organisation from becoming a target for more sophisticated cybercriminals.
