Jaime Alvarez
Jaime leads the Sustainable Infrastructure and Private Equity strategies here at Brunel. He works to deliver excellent financial outcomes and positive impact on the world that Brunel clients live in. Before joining Brunel, Jaime was at Big Society Capital, where he launched the LSE listed Schroders BSC Social Impact Trust.
Jaime has had an impactful career before joining Brunel, co-founding companies such as Xlinks and Faro Energy, being involved in dynamic energy start-ups such as Rensource, Enerbuild and Clean Energy Associates as well as advising Impact Investors at Palladium (formerly Enclude) and Technoserve.
Jaime brings 15 years experience in private equity and strategic consulting at leading institutions such as Coller Capital, the EBRD and McKinsey & Co. He has a joint degree in Economics and Law from ICADE and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
