Oaktree Capital has published a case study demonstrating how Brunel and Oaktree collaborate on climate integration.

The ‘Sustainability in Action’ case study is based on interviews with Greer Howard-Tabah, Head of Sustainability at Oaktree; Wayne Dahl, Co-Portfolio Manager at Oaktree; Daniel Spencer, Portfolio Manager at Brunel; and Faith Ward, Chief Responsible Investment Officer at Brunel. As part of the preparation for COP 30, Faith will be speaking on Thursday on how to approach asset owner-asset manager coordination on climate integration at the PRI in Person conference in São Paulo, Brazil.

The Oaktree case study focuses on Brunel’s Multi-Asset Credit portfolio, which launched in 2019. Brunel appointed Oaktree as of the portfolio’s managers.

“Our partnership with Brunel has helped us advance our overall sustainability program,” said Greer Howard-Tabah. “The tools and processes we built are now used across a range of strategies at Oaktree. This partnership centres around close collaboration and knowledge sharing on both sides. We have learned a great deal from Brunel and have been able to share teach-ins with their team on multi-asset credit investing and climate.”
