In November we launched a competition for children associated with Brunel’s staff (offspring, nieces, nephews and neighbours were all eligible to enter) to create a festive design inspired by Isambard Kingdom Brunel.
We discovered that not only do the children in our lives have some pretty amazing artistic skills, but that the Clifton Suspension Bridge is very much on Santa’s route over Bristol!
Top prize went to George, aged nine, featuring Brunel himself as Santa’s helper!
We also received some beautiful shortlisted entries, including the two shown below.
